As little girls spent their time coloring, playing with barbies, dressing up, or having play dates, Anna Fitzgerald was saving her sister's life. From the moment Anna was born she went under numerous surgeries to save her sister Kate from cancer. Kate&Anna's parents had Anna for one reason: To donate organs, cells, blood, etc. to Kate when she gets sick. Of course they love Anna like any parent would, but Anna finally gets sick of all the poking and prying. She hires a professional lawyer by the name of Campbell Alexander to sue her parents for the rights to her own body. I think that "My Sister's Keeper" is going to be a heart-felt and life changing novel for me. So far, it seems like an extremely good book and I love it.
